Sabina graduated from Griffith University with a Masters of Physiotherapy with a background in Exercise Science. Sabina has undertaken various roles and positions as an experienced physiotherapist in Queensland which have provided opportunities to consolidate and develop clinical skills across many areas.
Discovering a passion for neurological physiotherapy, Sabina is currently in the process of becoming a titled neurological physiotherapist with the national board. Her breadth of experience in neurological physiotherapy has spanned acute, sub-acute and community rehabilitation settings undertaking management of a diverse cohort including people with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, progressive and congenital neurological conditions.
Sabina has significant experience with NDIS in the clinic and home visits, from providing NDIS assessments, to NDIS equipment prescription, and various other NDIS treatments. Not only does Sabina have experience with private insurers, she is also one of our primary physiotherapists that supports patients going through National Injury Insurance Scheme (NIISQ) claims.
Clinically, Sabina has worked as part of multi-disciplinary teams, as a sole practitioner and in clinical education with undergraduate physiotherapy students. Through clinical education courses, formal mentoring partnerships, self reflection, professional development and clinical experience Sabina continuously optimises her clinical reasoning skills and improves the integration of evidence base practice into her work habits.
Sabina is a registered physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
